I have been to Kanuga Tire & Auto no less than three times in the last month. First, I showed up on a Friday end of day with a big ol' roof nail in my tire. They put my donut on as they had to order my tire to get me home safely. Monday I drove back in and they put the new tire on. Told them I would make my scheduled maintenance appointment. We scheduled that appointment and did a complete inspection. They detailed and identified a few items that will be due for the Volvo 60,000 service and one that needed attention while it was in the shop. Did I mention that this same service would cost hundreds of dollars more at any Volvo dealership in the region. So I was feeling so confident with everything looking good on the car as I would be taking it on a long road trip out of state. That was Monday. On Tuesday night when I returned home my automatic lift gate made some terrible noise. I guessed the struts and/or supports were giving out as it was hard to close. Ok, speed dial to Kanuga Tire & Auto. They said get it in there first thing Wednesday morning and they would try to work me in, as I need to leave early Friday morning. The good news is they could order the parts and bad news was with labor it would be around $1700. Then I remembered my platinum Volvo CPO warranty. I provided Ed and Mindy with warranty contact and they went to work on it. My warranty covered all but $350.00. Happy days. The team worked hard so I could have my car back today on Thursday to prepare for the trip. Any time I've contacted this small business there has never been anything but a stellar experience. Believe me I've presented them with some weird situations and so has my husband over the years. Each time we leave happy and laughing. When does that ever happen in a auto repair shop? They detail out and work with you on resolving any issue.
I always recommend them to anyone who asks me about tires or auto repair. The business also supports the non-profit community which is another reason I highly recommend them. From Eduardo the owner, to Mindy the service advisor and the whole darn tech team you can't go wrong. As their positive reputation ripples out into the community you may have to be a little patient to get your appointment. However, they go above and beyond to earn your business. Hendersonville is lucky to have small business owners who provide such consistent and great customer service.
