What Tire Tread Wear Patterns Mean

Looking at the tread wear patterns, you can tell whether you need new tires.

If the tread is wearing in the center of a tire, the tire has too much air pressure. Check the tire information placard on the interior of your driver’s side door jamb for the proper pressure needed for your vehicle and deflate to that amount.
